Comprehensive, Compassionate, and Convenient Healing Solutions

At Total Prime Management (TPM), our mission is to improve every patient’s quality of life through comprehensive and compassionate wound care. We focus on aggressively managing wounds to ensure they heal quickly, completely, and safely.

Working closely with referring physicians, our team develops personalized wound care protocols that address each patient’s unique medical needs—helping them return to a life free from the pain and limitations of chronic wounds.

Understanding Chronic Wounds

While most wounds heal naturally, more than six million Americans suffer from chronic wounds that do not heal properly due to underlying conditions. A chronic wound is one that fails to progress through the normal stages of healing within an expected timeframe. Without proper treatment, these wounds can lead to serious complications, including infection and even amputation. If a wound hasn’t started healing within two weeks, or isn’t fully healed in six weeks, professional medical care is recommended.

Common Causes of Chronic Wounds
  • Diabetes
  • Circulatory disorders
  • Poor nutrition
  • Infection
  • Pressure injuries or trauma

FAQ’S

Frequently Ask Questions

Yes! Medicare covers home health 100% with no co-pay or secondary insurance needed. This means that you or a loved one needs home health care and you have Medicare, you will likely not have to pay anything out-of- pocket for the care we provide. You will need a referral for in-home health care from your physician. You can learn more about referrals here.

Good question - and this one is a little more complex. If you have Medicare, VA, or Tricare, your home health care should be fully covered at no additional cost to you. When it comes to other insurance plans such as Medicare Supplements or Medicare Advantage Plans offered by private insurance companies, there are many instances where they do cover home health, and we do accept their plan. Coverage for these plans is often dependent on the service area in which you are located. Please use our location finder and call a location near you to determine if your insurance plan is covered.
